At the heart of the Arcadia Dragonfly Stage at Glastonbury Festival sits its most striking feature: the hexagon LED Dragonfly head, which also doubles as the DJ booth. Designed, manufactured, and installed in collaboration with Cucumber Productions, this ambitious centrepiece transformed the stage into a fully immersive visual experience. Installed in just two days and brought to life across a four-day party, the structure combined 200 hexagons and 20 pentagons into a dynamic LED screen visible to crowds of 60,000 people per night, with up to 15,000 gathered at any one time. Delivered under extraordinary logistical conditions. The project went on to win multiple awards, with a NOEA Award specifically for the LED installation, this cemented the Dragonfly’s status as a landmark achievement in festival stage design.
